Puppy Training and Socialisation 5 Week Course (Cregagh Road) 19:00 - 20:00
Description
Is your puppy jumping up, play biting, or ignoring you when called? Do they need to learn how to walk on a loose lead, settle, and socialise with other dogs? Our Puppy Training & Socialisation Classes cover all of these skills — and so much more. We’ll give you the tools to: ✔ Teach polite manners and stop unwanted behaviours ✔ Build reliable recall and loose-lead walking ✔ Introduce your puppy to positive socialisation experiences ✔ Set strong foundations for a happy, well-behaved adult dog Classes are suitable for puppies from their 2nd vaccination up to 25 weeks of age. ✨ New for this course: These classes now incorporate the Good Companion Awards from the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (similar to the Kennel Club Good Citizen Awards). This means your puppy won’t just learn vital skills, but you’ll also have the chance to achieve recognised awards as you progress. 📅 Spaces are limited — book now to give your pup the very best start in life! The course will run over 5 weeks on the following dates: Tuesday 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th November and 2nd December.
It is vital to give your puppy the best start, and our qualified trainer is here to offer expert advice on any puppy problems you may have. We will guide you on: • Walking on a loose lead • Coming back when called • Handling and puppy care as well as advice on play biting and jumping up. The course will include other fun exercises and canine enrichment.
The puppies will be trained using positive reinforcement and NO harsh methods. Spaces are limited, so please book through the website. Upon booking, you will receive a link in your confirmation email detailing what to bring, and after each class, you will receive class notes for the topics covered. A reminder will be sent from robin@robinbatesdogtraining.com. Please check your spam/junkmail folder if you do not receive the confirmation email in your inbox, or add this address to your contacts in advance. Please Note: - We prefer that one person attends class per puppy (or a maximum of two) - If your puppy is aggressive or reactive, it cannot come to class (unless the class is for reactive dogs). This can be a risk to other people, or other dogs, and we would recommend organising a one-to-one session with our trainer.
