Description

Do you have an adult dog (over 6 months) that has become an adolescent, is a rescued dog, an older dog or a dog who missed out on puppy training? Would you like to teach them some foundation exercises, or refresh previous training skills in a group environment while also helping them with socialisation? Our adult dog training classes are ideal. The course will run over 5 weeks on the following dates: Tuesday 17th, 24th June, and Tuesday 1st, 8th, 15th July.

It is vital to continue training your dog, and our qualified trainer can give you expert advice on any problems you may have. We cover the following exercises and many more in our adult dog courses: - Behaving around people and dogs - Walking on a lead without pulling - To reliably come back when called - To focus around distractions - Sit, down and stand - Wait.

The dogs will be trained using positive reinforcement and NO harsh methods. Spaces are limited, so please book through the website. Upon booking, you will receive a link in your confirmation email detailing what to bring, and after each class, you will receive class notes for the topics covered. A reminder email will also be sent from robin@robinbatesdogtraining.com. Please check your spam/junkmail folder if you do not receive the confirmation email in your inbox, or add this address to your contacts in advance. Please Note: - We prefer that one person attends class per dog (or a maximum of two) - If your dog is aggressive or reactive it cannot come to class (unless the class is for reactive dogs). These dogs can be a risk to other people, or other dogs and we would recommend organising a one to one session with our trainer.
