Discover the fun of scent work with your dog in this one-off beginner workshop, led by expert dog trainer Robin Bates! Perfect for those new to scent games, this session will guide you through the basics of scent detection while building your dog’s confidence and focus. Using clear, positive techniques, you’ll learn how to set up scent exercises that really engage your dog’s natural instincts.

During the session, Robin will introduce foundational scent work skills, including searching for hidden targets, rewarding success, and developing your dog’s attention and motivation. You’ll leave with tools to continue scent training at home and strengthen communication and teamwork with your dog.

The dogs will be trained using positive reinforcement ✔️ — never harsh methods. ❌ Spaces are limited, so please book through the website to secure your place. Once booked, you’ll receive an email with important information about what to bring on the night. We prefer that one person attends per dog (maximum two if necessary). ⚠️ If your dog is aggressive or highly reactive, they cannot attend this class (unless it’s specifically for reactive dogs). For these dogs, we recommend arranging a one-to-one session with our trainer instead.
